Hi, my name is Andrea.

I'm a creative strategist, a copywriter, an artist, a two-time degree holder, and a person who thinks about why people do what they do.

Andrea Jankelow

I came to marketing through an unusual door. I have two degrees: one in strategic communications and journalism, one in psychology. And from day one, that combination shaped how I approach creative work. I don't just want to write. I want to understand why something moves a person, and then build the message that does.

At 22, I suffered a severe brain injury that changed the course of my life. I was housebound for years. But I kept working, and I kept moving forward. I advanced in my career from that place, developed a practice as a visual artist, and came out the other side with a level of focus and resilience that I don't think I could have built any other way.

Today I bring all of it to the table: the academic framework for understanding human behavior, a decade of performance creative across DTC, SaaS, financial media, and consumer brands, and the kind of discipline that only comes from building something meaningful when it wasn't easy to build anything at all.

Creativity Beyond The Written Word

I'm also a working visual artist. My work has been shown in galleries across Colorado. For me, art and copy are the same practice: both are about making someone feel something specific. That cross-disciplinary thinking shows up in how I approach every brief.
